The Exan project is an exorcise of the open space vs enclose space. Both are celebration to the green space which allows the students to interact with natures during their class breaks.
The design was initially inspired by the Lingotto Factory’s Bubble diagram and the Hemeroscopium House diagram. These diagrams were used to develop a design language based on the tectonic material theme such as reinforced concrete and wood that combined with the exterior garden provides a spectacular outdoor room sensation. The hallway is design to make people to interact with both spaces. The three ft. difference on the 1st floor level provided the sense of privacy while the top floor is more open and public.
